This 1.5-2hr workshop led by RISC’s education team is for teachers on working with students to address issues about climate change, and facilitating student led action projects. It is a fantastic way for teachers to raise awareness and run a whole school project. The workshop will explore how all members of the school community can become more aware of the issues behind the climate justice movement – and what choices they have in their daily lives at home, in school, in their local community, and how to take meaningful action, however small to fight the climate crisis.
When: Wednesday 20th October 2021, 4-5pm
Where: Main Hall, RISC, 35-39, London Street, RG1 4PS
