1: Gather your advent group

Find some advent buddies - or do it solo

Invite a few colleagues, friends or neighbours to do the Advent of Good and Green Deeds with you. Share this page and invite them to a kick-off session.

2: Choose your deeds

1. Browse the list and choose some deeds to do together.
2. Download the Advent of Good & Green Deeds Calendar template.
3. Add your chosen deeds to your calendar. (Plus some festive social events!)

3: Invite others

Share your Calendar

You now have a bespoke Advent of Good & Green Deeds Calendar with relevant contact details or meeting points. Share it with a wider group of colleagues, friends or neighbours to invite them into your group's campaign.

Reading has a framework for collective action

Good and green deeds are happening all the time in Reading! The climate actions local organisations have pledged to take over the next five years are set out in the Reading Climate Emergency Strategy & Action Plan 2025-2030. The Action Plan is a living document. It will keep evolving as new and creative ideas emerge. Do you see any opportunities to support the existing actions, or to evolve the Action Plan?
