Are you looking for a women’s-only safe space to learn cycling skills and make new friends? Belles on Bikes could be the group for you!

Belles on Bikes are a Reading-based, non-profit group. They encourage women to rediscover their love of cycling and to make friends through sustainable travel!

What do they do?

Belles on Bikes offer free group cycling sessions for women in the Reading area every Sunday morning. They host a range of rides, from beginner to advanced level. Rides are led by experienced volunteers who are certified through Cycle UK, who aim to boost your confidence and teach you basic bike mechanics!

What can you expect from a ride with Belles on Bikes?

Belles on Bikes will take you on beautiful routes throughout Reading and the surrounding countryside areas. Rides usually start at 10am from Palmer Park, where you can borrow a bike or helmet if needed. The group also make frequent stops at cafes for coffee and cake – giving you a chance to get to know other women in the group! Expect to learn valuable cycling tips, gain the confidence to ride on roads and make new friends!
