Why host an event?
Be part of the movement to inspire and enable a healthier, happier, more connected and climate-friendly Reading. Your event or activity will be listed in the Festival programme and on Eventbrite. The programme will be promoted by the Council, University of Reading, What’s On Reading, ReadingCAN and scores of local influencers and community groups.
What kind of events and activities are we looking for?
Your event can be online or in person – as long as it inspires or enables a climate-friendly Reading. Our aim is to make sure the programme provides something for everyone, and touches on the many roles we all play:
- Children, teens and young adults
- SMEs and charities
- Schools
- Householders
- Parents
- Corporations
- Consumers
- Citizens
- Nature lovers, walkers and urban explorers
- Artists, campaigners and fashionistas
- Foodies, engineers and community leaders
- etc.!
Bring your skills, passion, experience and imagination to this year’s Festival.
We may be able to help you find a free venue if you are thinking of hosting an in-person event.
