The government has fully funded 1,000 places with The Retrofit Academy for those who want to upskill in domestic retrofit of energy efficiency measures. The 3-day e-learning course is aimed at those not currently in education, employment or training, new entrants to the industry and existing installers who have experience but no qualifications in domestic retrofit. The course is aligned to the new PAS 2030 standard, to which all employers will have to provide a pathway to compliance by June 2021. 21 hours of e-learning time are provided, leading to a nationally-recognised NOCN Level 2 qualification.
Places are available to book here until 31st March 2021 but are awarded on a first come, first served basis.
