Encouraging young people to engage in climate change issues

This climate activity pack has been created in collaboration with local community groups who have a shared passion in tackling climate change. By working together, we hope to encourage young people to engage in climate change issues and demonstrate how collectively we are tackling the problem.

The pack has the following activities

  • Colourful leaves for Reading
  • Trees for Reading art project
  • Identify and monitor areas for change in green spaces
  • Tree quiz
  • Sustainable augmented reality
  • A home for everyone: happy habitats at your home
  • Recycled plant pots
  • Reusable recycled cloths
  • Melting ice caps
  • Hedgehog plant pots
