What is it all about?

This summer, Young Christian Climate Network are organising a Relay to COP26. Volunteers will be walking from St Ives to Glasgow to participate in a range of events and show that they care about climate justice.

The relay will be coming to Reading on 29th of July, where a series of events are being held:

  • 28th July – Walker’s Welcome (Wesley Methodist Church @ 4:30pm)
  • 29th July – Creative Climate Workshop – With Speakers from University of Reading (Abbey Baptist @ 7pm)
  • 30th July – The Pilgrim’s Picnic (Meet at Wesley Methodist Church @ 12:20am)
  • 30th July – Sanctuary with Emma Major and Young Christian Climate (Reading Minster @ 8pm)
  • 31st July – Blessing of The Boots with the Bishop of Reading (Reading Minster @ 10am)
  • 31st July – Sung Eucharist with Canon Brian Davis, ‘Care for Creation’ (Reading Minster @10am)
