In 2019, Chris Beales sat down with Ayo Sokale to explore the issue of ‘Climate Change and Class’. As the former Reading Climate Change Partnership Chair, Chris wanted to explore how some of these issues may affect Reading residents.
In the video below, Chris and Ayo discuss Climate Justice. Focusing particularly on the disproportionate impacts that climate change will have on more vulnerable communities. In Reading, we often hear about the impacts of extreme weather on poorer communities in other communities. However, the risk of climate change and social inequality is very real for us here in Reading as well.
